US aircraft carrier to participate in joint military drills with S Korea
US and S Korea, who have recently concluded their joint large scale military exercise in July, are ready to start another round of war games.

WASHINGTON (BNS): US Department of Defense has announced a series of military exercise with Republic of Korea (ROK) in Yellow Sea, a media report said.
Pentagon has decided to send USS George Washington aircraft carrier to the Yellow Sea for the upcoming joint drills with S Korea.
“US will send the USS George Washington super-carrier, which participated in last month's joint drills between the US and the ROK in the Sea of Japan, to the Yellow Sea for their upcoming exercise," China Daily quoted Pentagon Spokesman Geoff Morrell as saying.
According to the officials, both US and ROK are "in the process of starting" another round of war games.
Recently, South Korea and US have concluded their joint large scale military exercise off the South's east cost in July, the report said.
“The exercise will take place over the next several months,” he added.
