Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth inaugurated ‘VISV 2026’ (Vision, Innovation, Synergy, Values), organised by DRDO, in collaboration with the Centre for Joint Warfare Studies (CENJOWS), at Manekshaw Centre, New Delhi, today.
The event was inaugurated in the presence of Defence Secretary and Secretary DDR&D and Chairman Rajesh Kumar Singh, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, Secretary Defence Production Sanjeev Kumar, and Dr Chandrika Kaushik, DG (PC&SI) DRDO.
The event, themed “Showcasing Defence Capabilities, Strengthening Global Partnerships,” aimed at showcasing India’s indigenous defence technology capabilities and strengthen engagement with friendly partner nations.
It brought together representatives of the defence establishment, industry, academia and the diplomatic community to familiarise international partners with India’s advances in defence research, development and production, and explore avenues for technology-led cooperation and strategic partnerships.
"The event aims to enhance awareness of DRDO-developed products and systems, facilitate direct interaction between international representatives and Indian defence stakeholders and explore avenues for mutually beneficial defence technology cooperation, exports, co-development and industrial partnerships," DRDO said in a post on X.
Defence Attaches from more than 35 friendly foreign nations attended the event along with diplomats and stakeholders from Indian defence technology and industrial ecosystem, DRDO said.
