Indian Navy frigate INS Trishul arrives in France for maritime exercise
The guided missile frigate will participate in the bilateral maritime exercise ‘Varuna’ between the Indian Navy and the French Navy.

Indian Navy’s guided missile frigate INS Trishul has arrived at Toulon, France, to participate in the 24th edition of the bilateral maritime exercise ‘Varuna’ between the Indian Navy and the French Navy.
The warship arrived at Toulon on Sept. 22, the Defence Ministry said.
The bilateral exercise between #IndianNavy and #FrenchNavy will feature professional engagements in harbour and at sea, aimed at enhancing operational synergy and interoperability, the Indian Navy said in a post on X.
“The visit underscores the strong and enduring maritime partnership between India and France and reflects the expanding scope of maritime cooperation and strengthening ties between the two nations,” the Defence Ministry added in a statement.
