HYDERABAD (PTI): The first helicopter cabin manufactured by Tata Advanced Systems and US-based Sikorsky Aircraft JV will be exported to Sikorsky's assembly unit in the US on November 23.

According to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister's office, Ratan Tata, Chairman of the Tata Group is likely to meet the Chief Minister on November 7 here to discuss this issue.

He is also likely to discuss further investments the group has planned in the state with Rosaiah, the CM's office said in a statement.

"I am glad that the TASL has set up a helicopter manufacturing facility in the Aerospace SEZ to manufacture cabins for the Sikorsky-92 helicopters on schedule and that the first cabin from the manufacturing line, would be exported to on November 23 with two more scheduled to be delivered by the year-end," the statement said.

However, uncertainty looms large over the presence of Ratan Tata during the rolling out the first cabin from their facility on November 7 as he is reportedly hosting US President Barack Obama on November 6.

Ratan Tata is expected to be in Hyderabad for the formal inauguration of Taj Groups new entity -- Taj Falaknuma -- here on November 13. He may do the honours in the presence of Rosaiah and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
