The Latin America Aero & Defence (LAAD) is an International event for the Armed Forces of Latin America and aerospace industries, which is supported by the Brazilian Ministry of Defence, Brazilian Armed Forces and leading national defence and aerospace associations.
The eighth edition of LAAD – Defence & Security will be held from April 12th to 15th, 2011, at the Rio de Janeiro Convention Center, Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
The visitors profile mainly includes major Defence delegates, Brazillian Ministers, senior staffs and Armed Forces representatives, Regional industry , military influencers, Defence industry senior executives and trade visitors, Civil and Military Police and , regional and international Defence & Aerospace press.
About 45 Delegations from 43 countries, 18,200 visitors from 60 countries and 335 exhibitors from 31 countries will be present at the show.
The seventh edition of LAAD was attended by 18,200 people, 336 exhibitors, both record numbers and 93 Brazilian exhibitors, showing the strength of the national industry.
The event will manly exhibit Aerospace Materials, Aerospace Media, Air Traffic Control Equipment, Aircraft, Aircraft Interiors, Aircraft Maintenance Services, Aircraft Systems, Terminal Systems, Avionics, Radar Systems, Aeronautical Services, Battlefield Management, Cargo, Ground Support Equipment, Inflight Entertainment, Land Vehicles, Missiles, Weapons Systems, Research & Development, Safety & Rescue, Satellite Navigation and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle at the show.
