KURUKSHETRA (BNS): To encourage young students and test their depth of knowledge in the fields of science and technology, and defence and aerospace, BrahMos Aerospace conducted a quiz contest at the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra in Haryana.
A large number of participants from different departments of the institute enthusiastically took part in the quiz programme which was being organised as part of the Annual Technical Symposium - Literati-2012.
The students promptly answered the wide array of questions ranging from recent developments in the Indian defence sector to NASA's space programme and the universe and planets.
The winners were awarded with mementos by BrahMos.
The four-day annual event was held in the NIT campus from March 1 to March 4.
BrahMos Aerospace, which put up an exhibition showcasing the BRAHMOS supersonic cruise missile system during the technical festival, drew a large number of students and officials associated with the event.
