BRAHMOS attracts NIT-K students at 'Literati-2012'

KURUKSHETRA (BNS): BrahMos Aerospace Thursday attracted a large number of enthusiastic students during its participation in the ongoing Annual Technical Symposium- Literati-2012 organised by National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra in Haryana.

Literati-2012 techno-managerial event is being held from March 1-4, 2012 with an aim to provide a common platform to the young talents to showcase their innovative potentials, creative ideas, and technical skills.

BrahMos along with DRDO laboratories TBRL and SASE are organising exhibitions to demonstrate their R&D potentials which will enthuse budding engineers and technologists and also motivate them for a career in defence technology development.

Literati-2012 was inaugurated by Dr. S. Sundaresh, Distinguished Scientist CC R&D (ACE), DRDO and Dr. S.N. Asthana, Director of Armaments, DRDO. Prof. Anand Mohan, Director, NIT-K and Prof. Lillie Dewan, Chairperson, Literati accompanied the Chief-guest during lighting the lamp ceremony.

The theme of the technical festival is 'Sustainable Development', a predominant global requirement for wide acceptability of the upcoming technologies.
