MH-60R Multi-Mission Helicopter

WASHINGTON (BNS): The Government of Australia has requested a possible sale of a 10-year Through-Life-Support (TLS) for 24 MH-60R Multi-Mission Helicopters, from US Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA).

Australia will receive the helicopters under the Foreign Military Sale (FMS) programme of DSCA.

Under the $1.6 billion contract, DSCA will also provide support and test equipment, publications and technical documentation, US Government and contractor engineering, technical and logistics support services and other related elements of logistical and programme support.

According to DSCA, Australia already has S-70B helicopters in its inventory and the proposed sale will provide necessary resources to properly maintain its 24 MH-60R helicopters.
