EVRY (BNS): Arianespace will launch Arabsat-5C and SES-2 satellites from the Spaceport in French Guiana on Tuesday.
According to the company, the launch readiness review for Arianespace’s fifth Ariane 5 launch of 2011 confirmed the heavy-lift Ariane 5’s “go” status, along with the readiness of its dual-passenger payload.
The satellites window will open at 6:38 pm to 8:02 pm local time. The launch will take place from the Spaceport in French Guiana.
The fifth-generation satellite for the Arab Satellite Communications Organization (Arabsat) was built in a joint effort of EADS Astrium and Thales Alenia Space.
