NEW DELHI Mar (PTI): Russia's largest manufacturer of ammunition Tecmash is looking at setting up a production facility in India with local partners for 23mm-155 mm caliber ammunition.

Russia will also be displaying a diverse range of its short range ballistic missiles and anti-tank weapon systems at the four-day DefExpo being held in Goa from March 28.

Tecmash, Russia's largest manufacturer of ammunition, will hold talks with the Ministry of Defence at DefExpo about setting up joint production facilities with Indian partners, a statement by the Rostec State Corporation, an umbrella organisation of around 700 defence companies, said.

This will be specific to the joint development and production of 23 mm 155 mm caliber ammunition in India, it said.

The United Engine Corporation (UEC) will also present models of aircraft and naval engines during the exposition.

Rostec member company "Russian Helicopters" will also present the Mi-38 and Ka-226T.
