BANGALORE (PTI): A two-day Station Commanders' Conference began on Wednesday at the Bangalore Air Force Training Command to debate on modernisation of IAF training.
Air Chief Marshal N A K Browne, Chief of Air Staff, will participate in the conference Thursday, an official release said here.
In his opening Address, Air Marshal Dhiraj Kukreja, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command, stressed on the need for involvement of Station Commanders to maintain focus on Standard procedures of training and intention of raising its bench mark.
He highlighted the significance of cyber and base security.
Presentations on training in IAF and Information Security, Processing of Works, Fiscal Prudence and Broad Guidelines of Defence Procurement Manual were made by experts.
Issues of Human Resource Management, emphasising on men and machine working in tandem towards modernisation of Indian Air Force training with a high sense of satisfaction was also discussed, the release said.
