NEW DELHI (PTI): Army Chief Gen Bipin Rawat is embarking on a three-day visit to Bhutan on Thursday during which he is set to discuss ways to strengthen defence and security ties between the two countries.
Rawat will hold talks with the top brass of the Bhutanese defence forces.
He will also call on Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk.
The aim of the visit is to deepen defence ties between the armed forces of the two neighbours, army sources said.
