The second Bahrain International Airshow will be held from19 – 21 January 2012, at the Sakhir Air Base, Kingdom of Bahrain.
The show is organised by Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs (CAA) in conjunction with Farnborough International Limited (FIL) and in collaboration with the Kingdom of Bahrain and UK exhibitions organizer.
The inaugural Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS), held in January 2010, was a tremendous success, not only for the Kingdom of Bahrain and the global aerospace community, but also particularly for the participating exhibitors, delegations and visitors.
The event hosted 40 exhibitors, 94 aircraft and visiting delegations from 25 countries; resulting in $1bn worth of deals struck over the show's three days.
The 2012 exhibition will showcase some of the key features of the exhibition; direct chalet and apron front positioning, on-the-spot aircraft demonstrations and customer test-flights and the ability to demonstrate UAS.
