COIMBATORE (PTI): Indian Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha has said the Air Force would induct the supersonic missile BRAHMOS, being developed by the Indo-Russian Joint venture BrahMos Aerospace, once it was ready.
To a question on the preparedness of inducting the missile into the force, Raha told reporters on Thursday that the missile was in the developmental stage and once it is ready, IAF will induct BRAHMOS.
Addition of this missile would definitely strengthen the Air Defence of India, he said.
On the search of missing Malaysian aircraft, he said that an IAF team in Andaman and Nicobar Islands was on the job.
