JAMMU (PTI): The General officer commanding in Chief of the Chandimadir-based Western Command of the Army Lt. Gen. K J Singh on Wednesday reviewed the security scenario and operational preparedness of the forces, a defence spokesman said.
Gen. Singh, who was on a two-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, visited various field formations under the Jammu-based Tiger infantry division where he was briefed by the field commanders.
"The army commander today visited various formations under the Tiger infantry division where he was briefed by the formation commanders on the security scenario and the operational preparedness of the forces," the spokesman said.
