VIP visit at BrahMos pavilion at Aero India 2023

NEW DELHI (BNS): Maj. Gen. (Retd.) Tarique Ahmed Siddique, Defence and Security adviser to Bangladesh Prime Minister visited the BrahMos pavilion today on the inaugural day of Aero India 2023, being held at the Air Force base Yalahanka in Bengaluru.

He was warmly received and briefed about the BRAHMOS missile by Director General, BrahMos, DRDO & CEO and MD, BrahMos Aerospace, Atul Dinkar Rane, at the pavilion showcasing the state-of-the-art BRAHMOS weapon system.

The BRAHMOS supersonic cruise missile has established its supremacy as one of the world’s fastest and deadliest precision strike weapon. This highly versatile missile has been integrated and successfully test fired on various platforms giving a major boost to India’s ‘Make in India’  initiative.

The Indian Armed Forces is already equipped with the supersonic BRAHMOS missile – a force multiplier in modern-day complex battlefields with its impeccable land-attack, anti-ship capabilities and multi-role and multi-platform abilities.

The indigenously developed BRAHMOS is produced by BrahMos Aerospace, a joint venture between India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Russia’s rocket design bureau NPO Mashinostroyeniya.
