Next-Generation Boeing 737 airplane
LE BOURGET (BNS): UTair Aviation of Russia has announced to procure 40 Next-Generation Boeing 737 airplanes from Boeing, the company announced the agreement at the ongoing Paris Air show, France.
The agreement also comprise of seven 737-900ERs and 33 737-800s from Boeing.
"Our decisions to further expand our Next-Generation Boeing 737 fleet is based on its high efficiency," Andrey Martirosov, UTair CEO, said.
With over 30 Boeing planes in its fleet, UTair is one of the largest Boeing operators in Russia, and by the end of this year, UTair will increase its Boeing 737-800 fleet to nine airplanes.
