NEW ORLEANS (BNS): US Army has ordered 65 additional M1117 Armored Security Vehicles (ASVs) from Textron Marine and Land Systems.
According to the company, the total estimated value of the contract is up to $49.61 million.

It also uses a four-wheel independent suspension system to deliver superior mobility, agility, handling and ride quality.
Textron Systems has already produced 3,161 ASVs for the US Army, and has achieved 68 consecutive months of on-time delivery to the Army on the ASV programme.
