RIYADH (AP): Saudi Arabia's Defence and Aviation Ministry says an emergency medical helicopter has crashed south of Riyadh killing all four people on board.
The ministry in a statement published by the official Saudi Press Agency said the helicopter went down some 35 kms south of Riyadh Friday. The chopper belonged to the armed forces medical services.
The statement said all on board were killed, the Saudi pilot and co-pilot, an Egyptian doctor and a Filipino nurse.
The ministry is investigating what caused the crash.
