MOSCOW (PTI): Russian Black Sea Fleet's Flagship, missile cruiser the Moskva will visit Kochi on Friday, according to the Russian Naval headquarters.
The Moskva left its home base in Crimean port of Sevastopol in Ukraine on April 9 for a series of exercises in the Indian Ocean with the Northern Fleet's Pyotr Veliki heavy nuclear-propelled missile cruiser.
Russian Navy (formerly Soviet) had a large operational-strategic sub-unit called 'Black Sea Fleet'. It is operational in the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea since the late 18th century.
Black Sea Fleet is based in various harbors of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.
