In the vast landscape of ARMY 2023 in Moscow, Russia, one stand has indisputably caught the international gaze – the BrahMos pavilion. Amid dynamic displays, this space has morphed into a magnetic epicentre, chiefly because of a notable visit from Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu and Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, reiterating Russia’s strategic emphasis on the BRAHMOS missile system.

The figure spearheading these global defence interactions is Praveen Pathak, BrahMos Aerospace’s Director of Marketing, Promotion, and Exports (MP&E). Post the Russian dignitaries, his focus shifted towards the interest shown by a high-level delegation of the Royal Malaysian Navy, positioning BRAHMOS on the international radar.

An added feather to this global outreach was Armenia’s Deputy Defence Minister, Karen Brutyan, showcasing interest in the BrahMos missile’s three variants, indicating its widening global appeal and operational versatility.

Widely seen as BrahMos Aerospace’s international emissary, Mr. Pathak has been seen as being relentless in elevating the missile’s prestige on the global defence stage. His interactions on behalf of the company, as seen at LAAD 2023 in Brazil, earlier this year, to the ongoing ARMY 2023 in Russia, serve as a testament to BrahMos’s unparalleled defence capabilities and its magnetism to nations worldwide.

India’s Ambassador to Russia, Pavan Kapoor, added depth to this unfolding story. His inauguration of the India Pavilion at the International Military Technical Forum, coupled with his vibrant commendations of Indian defence industrial feats echoes the intricate military and diplomatic tapestry woven between India and Russia.

As ARMY 2023 plays out across grand stages like the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center, the Alabino training ground, and the Kubinka airfield, the BrahMos narrative emerges luminously. This missile, emblematic of the Indo-Russian technical alliance, not only celebrates the combined brilliance of India’s Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Russia’s NPO Mashinostroyeniya but also claims its title as the world’s fastest supersonic missile.

In the grand mosaic of ARMY 2023’s defence spectacles, BrahMos Aerospace is carving its niche, persuasively positioning its missile as an integral piece of modern defence arsenals.
