Raytheon awarded USD534 mln contract for AMRAAM missiles

WASHINGTON (BNS): Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, Arizona, has been awarded a $534 million firm-fixed-price contract for AMRAAM Production Lot 27.

Fifty one percent of the production effort is Foreign Military Sales (AIM-120 C7s for Oman and Saudi Arabia).

Work will be performed at Tucson, Arizona, and is expected to be completed by Jan. 31, 2016.

This award is the result of a sole source acquisition.
