KOROLEV (BNS): Russia's Progress-M03M space freighter successfully docked with the International Space Station in an automatic mode on Sunday.
The spaceship docked with the ISS at 1.41 GMT, Russia's federal space agency Roscosmos said.
The cargo spaceship, the third of Russia's new generation of digitally controlled Progress craft, was launched from the Baikonur space centre in Kazakhstan on Thursday.
It delivered over 2.5 metric tons of supplies, including food, water, oxygen, fuel, scientific equipment and additional equipment to Russia and US segments of the six-member crew of the space station.
On September 27, Progress M-67 – the last analog space freighter in the Progress spacecraft series – took “burial” in the southern Pacific after delivering 2.5 tons of supplies at the ISS.
