France is all set to host the 49th Paris Air Show at Le Bourget exhibition centre from 20th to 26th June 2011.
The biennial Air Show is organised by Salon International de l'Aeronautique et de l'Espace (SIAE), a subsidiary of GIFAS (the French Aerospace Industries Association).
The first 4 days of the show will be exclusively for the industry, and the last three days will be open for general public.
Over 2,000 exhibitors from fifty countries are expected to visit the aero show. 138,000 trade visitors, 3,000 journalists and 200 official delegations will be also present at the show.
The event will bring together the industry’s key players, including manufacturers, subcontractors and SMEs.
Every day, over 140 aircraft will showcase different air manoeuvres at the show.
The show will offer various scope for the exhibitors in the field of, Aircraft construction and assembly, Space, spacecraft, Satellite telecommunications, Aircraft engines, Aerospace power-plants and related equipment, Weapon systems, Pilot & navaids, Airborne equipment and systems etc.
