Northrop Grumman to display its strength at DSEi 2011


LONDON (BNS): Northrop Grumman will demonstrate its leading defence capabilities as a systems integrator in Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR), unmanned ground systems and control solutions at DSEi 2011.

The Defence & Security Equipment International (DSEi) exhibition will take place from 13th-16th September, 2011 at the ExCeL Centre in Docklands, London.

Northrop Grumman will highlight a cross-section of its international defence and security solutions with equipment, displays and presentations of technologies available for viewing.

In addition to its exhibit stand, the company is taking part in the Waterborne Demonstrations to demonstrate the application of its tactical command and control systems and its capabilities in linking together multiple assets in a maritime environment, and in the Robotics and Unmanned Systems Showcase where it will demonstrate its unmanned ground vehicle capabilities,

According to the company, a range of its command and control capabilities situational awareness tools like integrated command and control framework (IC2F) will also be displayed.

The company will also highlight its cyber security and the federated cyber security test range and its application. It will also feature monitoring of Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) incidents and the collection and handling of related data. The Integrated Tactical Rapid Assessment of CBRN Environments (I-TRACE) system facilitates decision support and enhances situational awareness and information sharing among emergency response organizations.

Unmanned ground systems on display will be the Wheelbarrow Mk 9 large unmanned ground vehicle and the versatile Caliber T5 robot. A selection of marine navigation, ship control and coastal surveillance solutions including the VisionMaster FT Integrated Bridge and Platform Management System will also be displayed, it said.
