KOCHI (PTI): Captain Satish Shenai has assumed office as Commanding Officer of INS Dronachrya, Indian Navy's Gunnery and Missile training facility at nearby Fort Kochi.
Captain Shenai, a native of Goa, and Graduate of erstwhile Naval Academy at Goa, was commissioned in July 1993.
In addition to commanding INS Kirch, a missile corvette he served as the Fleet Gunnery Officer of Eastern Fleet and onboard missile destroyers Ranvijay, Mumbai and Delhi, a Naval press release said.
Captain Satish Shenai was Director of the Centre for Leadership and Behavioural Studies at Kochi when he was appointed as Commanding Officer of INS Dronacharya.
