NEW DELHI (PTI): A delegation of Nepalese Army led by a Brigadier General-rank officer is visiting New Delhi to take tips on preparation of military budget and financial planning of the defence forces.
The Nepalese Army delegation will interact with the Director General of Financial Planning and Budget Cell of the Defence Ministry here. They are here to study the financial planning and budgetary management of Indian defence forces, Sources said here.
A military delegation from Nepal had recently come here to study the selection process of officers in Indian defence forces and visited Allahabad-based Service Selection Board (SSB) centre.
The delegation had also visited the Delhi-based Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DIPR), a DRDO lab, which has formulated the SSB selection process.
Meanwhile, the French Army is also conducting a staff-to- staff-level talks here with the Indian Army to exchange their view points on issues related to bilateral military relations.
