The training, which concluded on Friday at the Joint Operations Centre (JOC) here, was imparted by public sector BEL representatives, who have been trained in the US for the NC3I project, the Navy said in a release.

"A total of 24 personnel from the Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard attended the training. The training was aimed at providing operators with essential knowhow for exploitation of the state-of-the-art system," it said.

Navy said the course would provide the necessary impetus towards the coastal security initiative of the country.
