Kwangmyongsong-2 satellite. A fle photo.

PYONGYANG (BNS): North Korea has displayed a model of its experimental communication satellite �Kwangmyongsong-2" at public exhibition which it claims to have launched in April this year, a media report said.

At the Three Revolution Exhibition in Pyongyang models of the satellite "Kwangmyongsong-2" and a model of the "Unha-2" carrier rocket is been displayed publically, a communication antenna and other parts of the satellite is installed in the model.

The working pattern of the satellite and its meaning is been explained in the exhibition to the people.

Satellite Kwangmyongsong-2 is been surrounded by blue solar ray panels.

Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) launched its Kwangmyongsong-2 experimental communications satellite in April.
