THIRUVIDANTHAI, TAMIL NADU (BNS): The Manufacturing Technology Transfer Agreement of small turbo-fan engine for BATL was handed over by Union Minister of State for Defence Dr. Subhash Bhamre to VAdm (Retd). N N Kumar, Executive Director (Production), BrahMos Aerospace, Hyderabad, during the ongoing DefExpo 18 exhibition being held near Chennai.
The high-end, state-of-the-art turbo fan engine has been designed for strategic applications with pioneering efforts made by GTRE and BATL.
