Mali orders C295W military transport aircraft

SEVILLE, SPAIN (BNS): The Republic of Mali has placed order for a C295W military transport aircraft from Airbus Military.

This is the first order in 2016 for the market-leading C295W transport and mission aircraft, Airbus said, adding that delivery of the aircraft to the Mali Air Force is due in the second half of this year.

The C295W, an improved variant of the C295 medium-lift twin-engine turboprop military transport aircraft and featuring winglets and enhanced engine settings, was unveiled in May 2013.
