HYDERABAD (PTI): Mahindra Satyam Thursday said it is planning to cash in on the booming aerospace and defence sectors by building on existing relationships and entering into new partnerships.
The company has been working with five of the top eight global aerospace and defence organisations and provides them with end-to-end product engineering capability for both the civil and military sectors.
Mahindra Satyam Associate Vice President, Strategic Partnerships, Aerospace and Defence, Gaurav Gupta said the company aims to build on the existing relationships and create new partnership opportunities in the next 12 months.
The company launched a single-window 'Art-to-Part' engagement model for its partners in aerospace and defence, which covers both design and manufacturing areas, taking care of the complete product development lifecycle, including after-market services.
"This market looks set to boom in the next two to five years with India predicted to spend billions both on 'Buy' and 'Make' programmes," he said.
The business model is built around creating significant value for partners by taking end-to-end responsibility for mission critical systems and sub-systems, he said.
