The 13th edition of the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS 2017 will be held at the Zhukovsky air base outside Moscow, Russia from July 18 to 23.
The biannual exhibition, regarded as one of the world's largest aviation forums, will demonstrate achievements of Russian high tech and receptiveness of the domestic Russian market to joint projects with foreign partners.
The mega show, organised by the Avaisalon JSC, will provide a comprehensive insight into the priorities and achievements of the Russian aerospace industry. Some prototypes of aircraft and combat systems as well as experimental units that for one reason or another cannot be shown abroad, are demonstrate exclusively at MAKS.
The previous editions of the exhibition have demonstrated new products to experts of the Russian defence industry, such as advanced aircraft, helicopters, missiles, avionics and latest scientific developments.
During the MAKS 2015 exhibition, contracts and agreements worth over 350 billion rubles were signed.
