The 10th Aviation and Space Salon MAKS 2011 will be held at the exhibition site of TEC Russia in Zhukovsky, Moscow from 16th to 21st August, 2011.
MAKS is held under the patronage of Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation is organising the show with the MAKS Directorate, AVIASALON JSC MAKS and general partner, ROSTECHNOLOGY State Corporation
Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will traditionally open the salons. Members of the Russian Government, Heads of Federal services, agencies and departments, general and leading designers of aircrafts and spaceships, heads of research and engineering institutions, plants, state authorities will also take part in salon’s activities with the official delegations of many countries.
The first day of the exhibition is open for official delegations and visits. The second and third day of MAKS 2011 will be exclusively business days intended for visits of specialists.
In 2009, MAKS welcomed almost 137 official delegations of industrial and military institutions from 48 foreign countries.
