Brazil will host the 9th edition of LAAD Defence & Security, Defence and Security International Exhibition at Riocentro, Rio De Janeiro from April 09 to April 12, 2013.

The biennial exhibition - the leading exhibition for the defence sector in Latin America - will bring together Brazilian and international companies that specialise in supplying equipment, services and technology to the armed forces, police and special forces, security services, consultants and government agencies.

A wide range of products for military operations, naval operations and aerospace will be on display along with communication and information systems, simulation and training and engineering technology.

While the previous edition of the event had registered participation of 663 exhibitors from 40 countries and 63 official delegations from 61 countries, the 2013 edition is expected to draw over 720 exhibitors to display their cutting-edge defence products and technology.

Seminars on defence and public security will also be organised as part of the exhibition.
