Keltron bags Rs 2-cr order from Indian Navy


THIRUVANANTHAPURAM (PTI): State-owned Kerala State Electronics Development Corporation Limited (KELTRON) has bagged a Rs 2.11 crore order from the Indian Navy for manufacturing and supply of Advanced Indigenous Distress Sonar System.

The device is used in submarines to generate alert signals in case of an emergency, Keltron said in a statement.

The Sonar system was developed by Keltron with the support of Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory, Kochi, it said.
