Kazakhstan will host the second edition of the international exhibition of weapons systems and military equipment "KADEX-2012" at the Air Force base in Astana from May 3 to May 6, 2012.

The international show will be organised by the Kazakhstan Defence Ministry.

The first edition of the defence exhibition, KADEX-2010, had showcased weapon systems of the land forces, navy, special purpose weapons and equipment, IT-technologies and communications and logistic support equipment.

This year's show will include aviation and air-based weapons and air defence systems.

KADEX-2010 had provided a new platform for the global defence industry to exhibit and promote cutting-edge military technology and also widended the sphere of military-technical collaboration between Kazakhstan and other countries.

A higher participation of the global defence industry is expected in this year's exhibition as well.
