JERUSALEM (BNS): The Israeli Navy missile boat flotilla has completed a large-scale military training exercise on August 1.
During the drill, which took place over the past few weeks, combat soldiers practiced different scenarios including conflict with an enemy fleet and threats by local terror organisations.
The military personnel of the missile boats flotilla also strengthened cooperation with the Israeli Air Force aircraft.
An anti-ship missile was also test-fired as part of the exercise, the Israel Defense Forces announced.
"This training exercise makes up an important stage in the readiness of the Israeli Navy for different scenarios as all fronts," the IDF said.
The Navy will continue strengthening cooperation with different units and operate to defend Israel's waters and safety of its civilians, Israeli Navy Commander, Admiral Ram Rothberg, said.
