A joint training exercise between Israel and Greek Air Force
ATHENS (BNS): A joint air-exercise between Israel Air Force and Hellenic Air Force was conducted in Greek this week, a media report said.
The combat helicopters from both the Air Force took part in the four-day joint exercise to train themselves in Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) operations.
Eight Israeli combat helicopters - four Yanshuf (Blackhawks) and four Apaches took part in the exercise, which included navigating around high mountains, the Jerusalem Post reported.
The exercise hosted by the Hellenic Air Force, was rescheduled from June to October due Gaza flotilla incident.
