VISAKHAPATNAM (PTI): Chief of the Indian Naval Staff Admiral R K Dhowan has reviewed the progress on arrangements being made for the International Fleet Review (IFR-16) to be held here next year.
Admiral Dhowan, who arrived here ON Thursday, was briefed by Flag Officer Commanding-in Chief, Eastern Naval Command, Vice Admiral Satish Soni on various preparatory activities being undertaken by the Navy and the civil administration for the mega IFR-16, scheduled to be held from February 4 next year.
Later in the day, the Chief of the Naval Staff visited all the venues of IFR in the city and within naval premises and took stock of the progress of works related to it.
