NEW DELHI (PTI): Army chief Gen Dalbir Singh Suhag on Wednesday left for the UK on an official visit.
He was originally scheduled to leave for London on June 8 but had delayed it as he was planning an operation inside Myanmar to take out two camps operated by North East insurgents.
"The attack was carried out yesterday and he left for UK today," army sources said.
They said the he will be out for 3-4 days.
