NEW DELHI (BNS): Army Chief Gen V P Malik said, China’s regular interruption on certain critical issues should be hold by our country, according to media report.
"Over the years, China has been consistently growing aggressive and India timid and submissive... If this continues we can expect increasing tensions and skirmishes on the Line of Actual Control (LAC)," PTI quoted Army Chief Gen V P Malik as saying. Malik had preside India's military action at Kargil in 1999.
Indian history regarding its strategic culture and rules was unimpressive.
"China will continue to exploit our appeasement to its advantage," he said.
Delivering a lecture on India's Strategic Culture and Security Challenges, Malik said “There is increasing pressure on India to resume dialogue with Pakistan doing that without ensuring that the Pakistan army gives up terror, would be yet another strategic failure,”.
"Experts have no doubt that 26-11 originated in Pakistan and was encouraged and supported by the ISI which is a part and parcel of the Pakistan Army," he said.
