The ILA Berlin Air Show 2010 organized by the German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI) and Messe Berlin GmbH, will be held from 8 to 13 June 2010.
The air show will feature a spectacular air display with aircraft of all types and sizes and other special shows would be organized to mark the 100th anniversary of the world’s oldest air show.
The highlight of this year’s international aerospace exhibition will be on Commercial Air Transport, Space, Defence and Security, Equipment, Engines, General Aviation, International Suppliers Center (ISC), CareerCenter and HeliCenter.
The Berlin air show started in 1909 as the International Luftfahrt-Ausstellung (ILA) in Frankfurt am Main. The traditional event will complete its 100th anniversary on June 2010, a century of aviation history. Between 1912 and 1928 this air show fascinated visitors in Berlin, and after the Second World War it was moved to Hannover-Langenhagen Airport, where it remained for more than 30 years.
