SATARA, MAHARASTRA (PTI): Indian Air Force (IAF) is fully capable of defending the skies, Air Chief Marshal P V Naik Saturday said.
"Air Force is fully capable of defending our skies... there should be no doubt about it," Naik said here.
On the question of 'proxy war' by Pakistan, he said the IAF was playing significant role in Jammu and Kashmir, where its helicopters were engaged in recce missions and deployment of Army personnel.
Naik also dwelt on the role of unmanned aerial vehicles in border areas of Kashmir.
The Air Force chief was on a day's visit to Satara in western Maharashtra to attend alumni meet of Sainik School here.
