NAGPUR (PTI): Chief of Air Staff P V Naik Thursday stressed the need to develop all-round capabilities for the armed forces.
While addressing a conference of Commanders of Maintenance Command of the Indian Air Force here, Naik also emphasised for proactive participation in upgrading the knowledge base and expertise on modern weapon systems and sensors, as well the need to keep the existing inventory fighting fit, a statement from Defence PRO's office said.
Naik lauded the efforts of the Maintenance Command for its pivotal role in keeping weapon systems and equipment operational, the release said.
He also asked the airmen to absorb the latest technologies that are coming into the armed forces, for their maximum operational exploitation.
