The International Air & Space Fair, FIDAE will be held in Santiago, Chile from 27th March to 1st April 2012 in Espacio Riesco Convention Center.

FIDAE is the largest and most significant air show in Latin America supported by the Chilean Government and Air Force. This biennial event brings together aerospace and defence companies, airlines, and other key players from the global aviation and defence communities.

FIDAE is said to be the leading fair in Latin America and one of the five most important aeronautical fairs in the world. The aerospace and defence fair will offer comprehensive service, gathering products and services from all the five fields: civil-commercial aviation, defence, aircraft maintenance, airport equipment and space technology, Homeland security.

In 2010, over 39 Exhibiting countries participated with 437 Exhibiting companies. The event was attended by 311 Delagations and 315 trade visitors from different countries. Over 563 journalists representing 328 different media organisations from all 5 continents covered the event.
