The Phenom 100 charter jet is a new addition to the business jet line by Embraer
SAO JOSE DOS CAMPOS (BNS): Brazilian aircraft maker Embraer will present the largest Executive Jets display at Aero India which will begin next week in Bangalore.
The static display at the air show will consist of a Phenom 100, Phenom 300, Lineage 1000, and the latest jet in its suite – the Legacy 650, which was certified in October 2010.
The company will promote its products from the executive, airline, and defense and security business areas during the show.
The Indian Air Force currently operates Embraer’s four Legacy 600 jets and one by the Border Security Force (BSF).
The Indian government has also ordered three EMB 145 AEW&C (Airborne Early Warning and Control) aircraft for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions.
They will be equipped with the advanced electronic systems being developed by Defence, Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). This deal covers training, technical support, spare parts, and ground support equipment.
Embraer’s key customers in India who operate the Phenom 100 include Aviators India Pvt. Ltd. and Invision Pvt. Ltd.
