BENGALURU (BNS): Distinguished missile scientist and full-time member of NITI Aayog Dr. V K Saraswat visited the BrahMos pavilion at Aero India 2015 on Thursday.
The former DRDO chief was briefed about the BRAHMOS Weapon System and the excellent achievements made by the India-Russia JV project.
BrahMos CEO & MD Sudhir Mishra later presented a memento to Dr. Saraswat.
BrahMos Aerospace is exhibiting various launch platforms for the universal missile system in the tenth edition of the premier Asian airshow. These include the air-launched version, naval version and land attack version of BRAHMOS.
Successful launches of the missile from different platforms are also being showcased in a video display.
Another major futuristic technological advancement the company is highlighting during the aero-show is BRAHMOS II - the advanced hypersonic version of BRAHMOS.
