Deputy Chief of Naval Staff briefed about BRAHMOS weapon system

LUCKNOW (BNS): Vice Admiral MS Pawar, Deputy Chief of Naval Staff, visited BrahMos Aerospace pavilion on the second day of DefExpo 2020 show being held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

The Deputy Chief of Naval Staff was briefed by Dr. Sudhir Mishra, CEO & MD of BrahMos Aerospace about the BRAHMOS weapon system and the milestone achievements made by the world’s fastest and deadliest cruise missile.

BrahMos Aerospace, the producer of BRAHMOS supersonic cruise missile, is exhibiting the air, land and sea variants of the formidable weapon at the international defence exhibition.

BRAHMOS has been successfully inducted in the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force.

As many as 451 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) and agreements worth Rs 1.53 lakh crore were signed during the Defence Expo or DefExpo 2022 at Gandhinagar, a senior official said.
