LONDON (BNS): Defence & Security Equipment International (DSEI), the world's largest fully integrated defence and security exhibition, has kicked off on Tuesday at London ExCeL.
The four day exhibition will see the participation of visitors from 121 countries, over 40 international pavilions and an unrivalled range of suppliers from 56 countries.
With over 1,400 exhibitors, DSEI is the key event for the defence and security community. It provides a unique platform to view the latest equipment and systems from the world's defence and security industry, such as BAE Systems, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin and Finmeccanica.
The event has thus brought together the entire industry to source the latest equipment and systems, develop international relationships, and generate new business opportunities.
The exhibition is one of the largest fully integrated defence and security show in the world, featuring Air, Naval, Land and Security show content. Based in ExCeL, London every two years, the event provides unrivalled access to key markets across the globe.
From India, BrahMos Aerospace is also taking part in the grand event and will be showcasing the BRAHMOS supersonic cruise missile system.
DSEI 2011 has attracted more than 28,000 visitors from 121 countries. The international significance of the event was demonstrated by the presence of exhibitors from 46 countries, including 30 national pavilions.
DSEI 2013 is supported by the UK Trade & Investment Defence & Security Organisation (UKTI DSO) and Ministry of Defence. It is organised by Clarion Events Ltd.
